Qualifications

You Must Have Medicare

You must be enrolled in Medicare to qualify for a monthly spending allowance through a Medicare Advantage plan.

Dual Eligible
(Medicare and Medicaid)

If you have both Medicare and Medicaid, you may qualify for a monthly spending allowance. In many cases, a qualifying chronic condition is also required.

Chronic Condition Qualification

If you are not dual eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid, there are Medicare Advantage plans that offer a monthly grocery or spending allowance to members with certain chronic health conditions.
